
Meatballs with gravy
Description
I make these meatballs using a mixture of beef and pork mince. Even if you've had bad experiences making meatballs before, you'll master this recipe in no time. This recipe could easily become a family favorite, as meatballs in gravy make a perfect dish for dinner, lunch, or even a festive table.

1. Sauté finely chopped onion in 2 tablespoons of butter, then transfer to a plate. Soak bread slices in milk, mash with hands, and mix with two types of ground meat, onion, eggs, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and cardamom. Form small meatballs and fry them in batches in a pan with melted butter.

2. Place all the meatballs on a baking sheet and set aside, then return the skillet to the heat.

3. Add flour to the butter and stir with a spatula.

4. Heat the mixture until it turns slightly brown.

5. Pour the broth into the pan in small portions, stirring slightly after each addition.
