Meatballs
Description
For a classic meatball recipe, I use pork and beef, as this makes the minced meat juicy and not too fatty. It's also better to prepare the sauce yourself and adjust the spices to achieve the flavor that suits your taste. Before serving, you can sprinkle the meatballs with herbs or cheese, or both, depending on your preference. Try, experiment!
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Chop the onion into small cubes and sauté in vegetable oil.
- 2
Step 2

Soak the white bun in milk.
- 3
Step 3

Add the fried onion, squeezed bread roll, one crushed garlic clove, one egg, salt and pepper to taste to the minced meat, and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed. Then beat the mixture by gathering it into a ball and throwing it back into the bowl, repeating this process 10 times. This helps prevent the meat mixture from falling apart when shaping the meatballs.

Step 4

Form meatballs from the minced meat, occasionally wetting your hands with water to prevent the meat from sticking, and fry them in vegetable oil on a skillet on all sides.

Step 5

Prepare the cream sauce by frying the flour in a heated skillet until golden. Add a tablespoon of butter, heat slightly, then pour in 20% cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 6

When serving, pour the prepared creamy sauce and herbs over the meatballs.
