
Meatballs in a cheesy coating
Description
The recipe won't take much time. A familiar everyday dish—cutlets—can easily be turned into a festive one. Don't believe me? I'll show you. Serve hot.

Soak white bread in water or milk. Peel the onion.

Squeeze the bread and chop it together with the onion. You can pass them through a meat grinder, or use a blender. Add the chopped onion and bread to the minced meat, season with salt and pepper to taste.

Thoroughly mix, then beat the meat mixture. Set the mixture aside for about 20 minutes.

Form the patties and coat them in flour or breadcrumbs.

Heat a pan with vegetable oil and fry the patties over medium heat.

Sear until a beautiful golden-brown crust forms.

Transfer the patties to a baking dish and place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater or slice it thinly to fit the size of the patties.

Sprinkle the almost ready cutlets with cheese.

And send back to the hot oven for about 5 minutes, until the cheese melts. You can also do this process on the stovetop. Sprinkle the patties in the pan with cheese and cover with a lid. After about 3 minutes, the cheese will melt.
