
Meatballs with mozzarella
Description
If you love the taste of melted mozzarella cheese and enjoy meat, then meatballs with mozzarella simply can't fail to please you. The combination of melted cheese and meat is already delicious on its own, but add the right spices and it becomes absolutely fantastic. Serve these meatballs with your favorite side dish, a vegetable salad, or even just by themselves.

Turn beef shoulder or another fillet cut into minced meat. Add egg and spices to the minced meat.

Mix the meat mixture thoroughly once again. It should become uniform and hold together well.

Take a piece of minced meat about the size of a plum and shape it into a patty. Place a ball of mozzarella—about the size of a walnut—in the center of the patty.

Roll the meat patty tightly into a ball. The ball should be firm, otherwise the cheese will leak out.

Each meatball should be rolled in a small amount of flour. Then place the meatballs on a greased baking sheet or one lined with parchment paper.

Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 20 minutes. Then remove the baking sheet, top each ball with an additional small piece of mozzarella cheese and half a cherry tomato. Return to the oven for another 2–3 minutes, then serve.
