
Meat hedges with rice
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. You can use any meat: chicken, pork, beef, or their combinations. The meat mixture can be made at home or purchased ready-made. Meatballs can be served with a side of vegetables, pasta, or cereals. Don't forget to enjoy the tomato sauce from the meatballs. The finished dish can be served at the table.

Pour the canned tomato juice into a saucepan and dilute it with 430 milliliters of boiled water. Place the saucepan over heat and bring to a boil.

Peel the onion and pass it through a meat grinder. Rinse the rice, wash the parsley and chop it finely. In a bowl, mix the ground meat with rice, onion, parsley, and garlic pressed through a garlic press; season with salt and pepper to taste.

Roll small meatballs and gently place them into the boiling tomato mixture, do not stir immediately.

Reduce the heat and cook covered for 40 minutes, season with salt to taste (if needed).

Remove the cooked meatballs from the heat and cover the pot with a lid. Serve them hot with any side dish.
