Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. This is a fairly simple recipe for a cheesy meatloaf that can diversify both everyday and festive meals. Step 1

1. The set of ingredients for the preparation of a cheese-stuffed meatloaf may vary, depending on your taste preferences. Instead of tomato juice for the meat, you can use a spicy sauce, for example, to give the dish a special piquancy. You can also add some onion or carrot to the minced meat, for instance.

2. Wash the beef, pat it dry and cut into medium pieces. Pass through a meat grinder and place into a deep bowl. Add eggs and breadcrumbs. Peel the garlic and press through a garlic press (or finely chop with a knife). Season with salt and pepper to taste, add chopped herbs or spices to taste.

Step 3

3. Line a cutting board or work surface with plastic wrap. Place the minced meat on it, spread it out, and shape it into a rectangle. You can make a similar cheese-stuffed meat roll at home using thinly sliced meat pieces, but this version will be more tender.

Step 4

4. Cover the surface of the meat with thinly sliced pieces of cheese. You can use processed sandwich cheese, hard cheese, or mozzarella, for example.

Step 5

5. Using plastic wrap, carefully roll the meat mixture into a roll, then transfer it to a greased heatproof dish or one lined with parchment paper. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 1 hour. To prevent the roll from browning too early, cover the dish with foil for the first 30 minutes.
