Meatloaf with cabbage and egg
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Meat rolls are an excellent dish because they can be served hot with any side dish or cold as an appetizer. You can add anything to the roll filling in any proportions. I suggest you try making a roll with cabbage and eggs. This filling turns out juicy, and I believe the combination of cabbage and meat is the most delicious. The finished dish can now be served.
Instructions

Step 1

For the roll, take beef and pork in equal amounts. Cut the meat into small pieces, add sour cream, 3/4 teaspoon of salt, a couple pinches of pepper, and minced meat spices.
- 2
Step 2

Mix and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- 3
Step 3

The meat has marinated, so we'll pass it through a meat grinder. Then thoroughly knead the resulting minced meat.
- 4
Step 4

Peel the onion and carrot. Grate the carrot on a grater, slice the onion into thin half-rings or quarters.
- 5
Step 5

Sauté the onion and carrots in vegetable oil in a frying pan for about 8 minutes, then add the shredded cabbage, salt, and pepper, and sauté for another 10 minutes. Don't forget to stir!
- 6
Step 6

Peel the boiled eggs and grate them on a coarse grater or chop into small cubes. Add the eggs to the cooled cabbage and mix well.
- 7
Step 7

Divide the minced meat into two parts. Cover the table with plastic wrap, then place one part of the minced meat on it and shape it into a rectangular layer. Place half of the filling on top.
- 8
Step 8

And using the film, roll up the roll, carefully sealing the seams and edges. Do the same with the remaining filling and minced meat.
- 9
Step 9

Lightly grease the baking sheet with vegetable oil (or line it with parchment paper), then place the rolls on it. Brush the top of each roll with mayonnaise and sprinkle with spices if desired.
- 10
Step 10

Bake the rolls in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 35 minutes, then cover with foil and cook for another 10-12 minutes.
