Description
Although this dish is considered traditionally German, it is becoming increasingly popular in our country as well. The meatloaf "Mock Hare" can be prepared using any type of meat, and quail eggs can be used instead of chicken eggs. Be sure to add spices and seasonings to the minced meat to make it more aromatic and, consequently, appetizing. This dish can be served hot or cold as an appetizer. Below you will learn how.

1. Mix the homemade meat mince with oregano, ground nutmeg, garlic, mustard, paprika, salt, cream, and thyme.

2. Season with pepper and blend the mixture with a blender. Place half of the minced mixture into a baking dish lined with parchment paper, then arrange the boiled eggs in a row in the center.

3. Cover them with the second part of the filling. Smooth it out and place in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for 1 hour. Let it rest in the mold for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wooden board.
