Meat Platter Shaped Like a Christmas Tree

A tasty appetizer for any gathering. When setting the New Year’s table, every hostess tries to prepare refined food, decorate it beautifully, and serve it at the table so everything looks lavish, bright, interesting, and, of course, appetizing. Serve the appetizer at the table.

Step 1
To make a meat platter shaped like a Christmas tree, use various ready-made meat products and sausages. I used balyk and several kinds of sausage. Slice the balyk into thin pieces.

Cut the balyk sausage into pieces.

Slice the other sausages the same way. Slice them fairly thin, in even pieces. A home slicer speeds things up. You can also buy sausage at a large supermarket and slice it there on their slicer.

On a wide white platter, arrange the larger pieces from what you have. For me, that's balyk. This will be the bottom layer of the tree-shaped arrangement.

Next, layer the sausage products.

Arrange all sliced sausages from bottom to top, from larger pieces to smaller ones.

Accent the tree’s tiers with parsley or dill. Fashion the tree trunk from a single piece of sausage.
