Sliced Meats
Description
It works for both holidays and everyday meals. Any festive table should include a sliced platter—they’re served as appetizers with strong spirits. For the Year of the Rooster, try this platter arranged like a rooster’s tail! Sharing the idea. Serve with fresh herbs and sauce.

Step 1

Prepare the ingredients. Hard-boil the egg, cool it, and peel off the shell. Wash the herbs and drain the olives. Let's get started!

Step 2

Cut all meat products into uniform thin slices.

Step 3

Take a rectangular plate — it’s easier to arrange the rooster with its tail that way. Cut the egg in half. Place the halves on the plates. Make eyes from olives, legs from boiled carrot, and a beak, comb, and wings. Arrange the meat products however your imagination allows, imitating the rooster’s lavish tail. Garnish with pieces of olives, carrot, and parsley. The meat platter “Rooster’s Tail” is ready!
