Soft chocolate cookies with cocoa
Description
The baking is simple and quick. We prepare classic butter dough with added cocoa, chill it for half an hour in the refrigerator, then cut out the cookies. These cookies bake for only 10 minutes. Be sure to try them! Good luck with cooking—serve with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Place the room-temperature butter into a bowl. Add sugar. Beat with a mixer.
- 2
Step 2

We get a buttercream.
- 3
Step 3

Beat in 1 egg, add flour, cocoa, vanilla, and baking powder. Beat again.
- 4
Step 4

We get a sticky, thick mass, more like a paste. Transfer it to a bag and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

From the cooled mixture, roll small balls, each weighing 3-4 grams (about the size of a 5-kopeck coin).
- 6
Step 6

Take a glass with a flat bottom. I didn't have one, so I'm using a shaped lid. To prevent the dough from sticking to the glass/lid, wrap the lid in plastic wrap.
- 7
Step 7

Press each ball with the lid. This will give you cookies of the same shape.
- 8
Step 8

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the cookies in the hot oven for about 10 minutes. Done.
