Baked muksun with potatoes

   Thaw the fish, make several crosswise portion cuts on one side, rub with spices, and season with salt. Stuff the fish with seasoned and salted onion rings. Slice potatoes into 3-5 mm rings, add a mixture of dried herbs and salt. Place the fish on a baking tray, arranging the potato slices around it (optionally overlapping like scales). Bake in the oven at 190°C for 40 minutes. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
