Ice cream with condensed milk
Description
A dessert not for those watching their figure. It's high in calories, rich, but incredibly delicious. I make the ice cream not with regular condensed milk, but with dulce de leche—I prefer it this way. The flavor of this dessert is more intense, and besides, I really love chocolate desserts, so I also add some dark chocolate. I serve the ice cream with fresh berries.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. I wash chicken eggs, separate the yolks from the whites, using only the yolks, so I put the whites in the refrigerator to use for something else later.
- 2
Step 2

2. I transfer the boiled condensed milk to a heavy-bottomed pot and place it over low heat, heating for several minutes until the mixture becomes thinner.
- 3
Step 3

3. Without removing the condensed milk from the heat, add the egg yolks, mix with a whisk and heat for 1-2 minutes. The main thing is not to bring the mixture to a boil.
- 4
Step 4

4. Constantly stir the mixture with a whisk, then slowly pour in the heavy cream (at least 30% fat) in a thin stream.
- 5
Step 5

5. I thoroughly and vigorously mix the mixture with a whisk, then remove it from the heat.
- 6
Step 6

6. I let the mixture cool slightly, add grated bitter chocolate to it, and mix.
- 7
Step 7

7. Pour the mixture into molds and place in the freezer for 2 hours.
- 8
Step 8

8. After the allotted time, I take the ice cream out of the freezer and transfer it from the mold onto a plate, serving it with fresh berries.
