Carrot roll with cottage cheese filling
Description
I suggest preparing a very beautiful, bright, and original appetizer roll for the holidays. It is made from carrots, and there is not a gram of flour in it. Want to surprise your guests with a new dish? Then read the recipe, which has everything written in detail. Serve with herbs and sauce.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Peel the carrots and grate them on a medium-sized grater.
- 2
Step 2

Place butter in the skillet.
- 3
Step 3

Add the carrots and simmer over low heat until tender. You can add a little water so the carrots don't burn or fry. Then cool the cooked carrots and blend until smooth.
- 4
Step 4

Place the cottage cheese and chopped herbs in a bowl.
- 5
Step 5

Add salt, garlic, and sour cream. Then blend and mix everything with an immersion blender.
- 6
Step 6

Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until fluffy foam forms.
- 7
Step 7

Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the cooled carrots, then spread the mixture in an even layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 8
Step 8

Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 15 minutes. Then place the carrot sheet on foil and let it cool slightly.
- 9
Step 9

Remove the parchment from the carrot sheet, spread the cottage cheese filling evenly on top, and roll everything into a roll.
- 10
Step 10

The finished roll should rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Then slice it and serve at the table.
