Carrot cutlets steamed
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I cooked these patties for my children, so I added sugar, but you can omit this ingredient to make the patties as healthy as possible. If desired, you can also add your favorite spices, for example, ground nutmeg. I suggest preparing the patties in a multicooker using the "Steam" setting or in a steamer. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all ingredients from the list. Peel and wash the carrots.
- 2
Step 2

Grate the carrot on a coarse grater.
- 3
Step 3

Place butter and grated carrots into a frying pan. Put the pan over low heat and, stirring with a spatula, wait until the butter melts.
- 4
Step 4

Pour in the milk.
- 5
Step 5

Add sugar and salt, mix, and simmer over low heat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

Add the semolina and stir vigorously. Cook over low heat for another 5-10 minutes, allowing the semolina to absorb into the carrot mixture.
- 7
Step 7

Keep cooking over low heat for another 5-10 minutes, so that the semolina is absorbed into the carrot mixture.
- 8
Step 8

Then transfer the carrot mixture to a large bowl for convenience and let it cool slightly. Add the egg.
- 9
Step 9

Vigorously mix in the egg with a spatula or spoon.
- 10
Step 10

Place breadcrumbs on a flat plate. With wet hands, shape the carrot mixture into patties and coat each patty in the breadcrumbs.
- 11
Step 11

Place the carrot cutlet patties into the steaming basket, then set the basket into the multicooker. Cook the cutlets in "Steam" mode for 30 minutes.
- 12
Step 12

Serve the ready-made cutlets hot.
- 13
Step 13

Can be served.
