Carrots stewed with onions
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Sometimes, while browsing the internet, I come across very unusual recipes made from seemingly ordinary ingredients, and today I'll share one of them with you and tell you. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, peel the carrots and slice them into half-centimeter thick rounds. If you have a decorative knife, you can use it to make cute little flower shapes—children absolutely love them.
- 2
Step 2

Rinse the onion thoroughly and chop it finely.
- 3
Step 3

Pour vegetable oil into a heavy-bottomed pot, add the carrots, honey, and salt. Cover the pot with a lid and simmer the carrots over low heat for 10 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

Then add the chopped onion.
- 5
Step 5

Mix everything, cover the pot with a lid again, and continue simmering for another 5 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

Now you can remove the pot from the heat and proceed to lunch. The carrots turn out very tasty and aromatic, with a slight "crunch," so enjoy them to your heart's content!
