
Seafood with sauerkraut
Description
The recipe won't take much time. A French recipe for sauerkraut with seafood and potatoes. You can use any fish you prefer. Serve hot.

Slice the onion. Peel the potatoes, and if they are large, cut them into four pieces.

Melt the butter, add chopped onion, salt, and pepper, and sauté for 3–4 minutes. Add 1 kg of raw sauerkraut and 2 cups of dry white wine, and mix well. Add potatoes, stir again, cover with a lid, and simmer over low heat until the potatoes are tender, about 40 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the shrimp and cut the fish into pieces. Brush both sides with olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Sear in a pan on both sides for 1-2 minutes.

In the same skillet, sauté the shrimp for 2–3 minutes.

Pour 4 tablespoons of dry white wine into the same skillet and mix with the juices from the fish and shrimp. Pour this liquid into the pot with the cabbage and stir. Place the fish and shrimp on top. Cover with a lid and simmer for another 10 minutes. Now it's ready.
