
Mondstadt Pancakes

Prepare all ingredients.

Wash the potatoes thoroughly, peel them, and cut into medium-sized slices.

Transfer to a pot, pour in water, and boil in salted water until tender.

Drain the water and mash the potatoes into a puree. Let cool.

Add a little more salt to taste to the puree you’ve made, plus flour and coarsely chopped pine nuts.

Then shape small round pancakes from the puree.

Dredge in breadcrumbs on both sides.

Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil over medium heat. Arrange the pancakes in the pan.

Fry until golden brown on both sides. Allow about 4–5 minutes per side.

Traditionally, Mondstadt pancakes are served in portions of two, with pine cone jam. The Mondstadt pancakes are ready—bon appétit!
