    Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Add edamame beans and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Remove any skins that come loose. If cooking edamame in pods, the cooking time will be longer. Follow the instructions on the package.

    Drain the edamame in a colander and let the excess water drain off.

    Transfer the boiled beans to a blender. Pour in clean water.
