
Young Carrots Fried in Caramel

This recipe won't take much time. A very interesting and quite simple recipe for young carrots fried in caramel with added alcohol. It's incredibly delicious! The appetizer is, of course, intended for adults only, but if desired, you can leave out the whiskey and serve the dish to children, especially if they don't like vegetables.

1. Wash and peel the carrots.

2. Cut into rings, but not too thick.

3. Melt about 50 grams of butter in a skillet.

4. Add part of the carrots to the pan. Don't put too many on the skillet so they can fry properly.

5. Fry for about 5 minutes, then carefully remove from heat.

7. Pour the whiskey into the pan. You can also use cognac, for example. Cook over medium heat for about 30 seconds.

9. Melt it properly, stirring constantly, and add the sugar (brown in this case, though regular white sugar may also be used).
