
Milk sauce with parsley

Homemade sauce recipe. Use only fresh parsley to prepare the sauce. The sauce is perfect for fried ham.

1. Place the butter in a saucepan and heat until the butter melts.

2. Gradually add the flour. Mix with a fork to combine the butter and flour. You should work quickly to prevent lumps from forming. Keep stirring until all the flour has absorbed the butter. Continue mixing until the mixture is smooth, with no lumps or white specks of flour remaining.

3. Now, gradually add the milk, stirring constantly. Each time you add a little milk, wait for the sauce to come to a boil. With each addition of milk, the sauce should become thick and creamy.

4. Add a pinch of salt, ground black pepper, and grated nutmeg.

5. Add finely chopped parsley to the sauce and mix well. You can add additional seasonings to taste. Let the sauce cool and serve. Store the sauce in the refrigerator and reheat, stirring, before serving.
