Meatloaf
Description
Be sure to thoroughly work the meat mixture—don't be lazy to beat it at least 10 times. The flavor of the meatloaf will be very rich; you'll love it! Feta cheese and green onions as a filling are delicious.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Add the bread soaked in milk to the minced meat, season with salt and pepper to taste, and mix well.
- 2
Step 2

Add the egg, mustard, and finely chopped oil-cured peppers. Mix thoroughly once again and knead the meat mixture well.
- 3
Step 3

Spread the minced meat in an even layer, one centimeter thick, on the baking sleeve cut lengthwise. Place crumbled feta cheese and chopped green onions in a strip down the center.
- 4
Step 4

Using the sleeve, roll the meat filling into a roll. Place it into a deep baking dish together with the sleeve, put a couple of bay leaves on top, and loosely cover the edges of the sleeve.

Step 5

Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 20–25 minutes. Then open the edges of the pouch, pour the meatloaf with juice, and brush with salted sour cream. Bake for another 5 minutes until a golden crust forms.
- 6
Step 6

Let the finished meatloaf cool slightly under foil and serve. Or let it cool completely, slice into pieces, and use as a cold appetizer.
