Miso caramel
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. I will tell you more details below. The ready dessert can be served at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Place sugar in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Pour in water and do not stir! Wait until the sugar becomes completely saturated naturally.
- 3
Step 3

Place the pot over medium heat. Add lemon juice when the mixture comes to a boil.
- 4
Step 4

Boil the sugar mixture until it caramelizes. Judge by appearance—the mixture will become thicker and brown. This will take approximately 15 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

Remove the pot from the heat. Add the butter and stir until it melts.
- 6
Step 6

Then pour in the cream.
- 7
Step 7

Whisk the mixture thoroughly with a whisk. It's okay if lumps form at the bottom. Return the saucepan to medium heat and cook until the lumps dissolve. The longer the caramel cooks, the thicker it becomes. For thin caramel, 5 minutes is sufficient; for thicker caramel, cook for 10–15 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

At the end, add the miso paste and stir well again until it is completely dissolved.
- 9
Step 9

Remove the caramel from the heat and transfer it to a jar. Let it cool completely, then store it in the refrigerator. Once the caramel has cooled, it will become lighter and thicker.
- 10
Step 10

Miso caramel is ready, enjoy your meal!
