Bulgarian Mish-Mash
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The word "mish-mash" in Bulgarian is used to describe disorder, chaos, and mess. And no wonder—mish-mash is a dish where all the ingredients are simply mixed together and simmered in a pan. The result, I must say, is a very tasty, quick weekday meal. I recommend adding it to your repertoire if you're always in a rush and don't have time to prepare something more elaborate. Serve hot.

Next, add diced red pepper to the pan, mix with the onion, and simmer over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.

Step 3

When the peppers have softened slightly, add the finely chopped tomatoes. Continue simmering over medium heat for another 10 minutes.
