Mish-mash
Description
A tasty appetizer for any gathering. Mish-mash translates as “a mix-up” and, in fact, that is exactly what it means. This dish consists of eggs and various vegetables. It would seem like an omelet, but no! During cooking, the eggs are mixed with sautéed vegetables, which is how the “mix-up” is created. Most often, mish-mash includes onion, garlic, bell pepper, and tomatoes, but there are also versions with carrots and eggplants. To make mish-mash even more filling (and it is already quite filling), potatoes are added—and then a complete dinner is ready. Today I will share a simple recipe with you,
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Peel and rinse all the vegetables. If you have brynza, use it, but you can also use processed cheese, as I did—the result is also very tasty and tender.
- 2
Step 2

Chop the bell pepper, onion, and garlic to your taste. There are no strict canons in this dish, so you decide how to cut the vegetables and which vegetables to add. Put the vegetables into a pan with heated oil and fry them for several minutes. The onion should become slightly translucent, and the pepper should become soft.

Step 3

Cut the tomatoes into small pieces and add them to the pan with the other vegetables.
- 4
Step 4

While the vegetables are frying, beat the eggs with salt. If desired, you can add a little milk or water.
- 5
Step 5

Pour the egg mixture into the pan with the vegetables and stir.
- 6
Step 6

Cut the processed cheese into small cubes. Add the cheese to the omelet and mix thoroughly until completely melted. The mish-mash will become soft and very delicate from the cheese.

Step 7

Cook covered, stirring from time to time, until done. Enjoy your meal!
