Pollock in a steamer
Description
What I love about steamed fish is that it can be served both hot and cold without compromising its taste. Honestly, I think cooked pollock tastes even better when cooled! This dish is perfect for a detox week—pollock is lean, low in calories, and packed with protein and beneficial nutrients. Every health-conscious woman should know how to prepare steamed pollock. You can simultaneously cook rice or vegetables in the steamer, turning it into a complete meal. But it's also delicious served simply with fresh vegetables. Just don't give in to the temptation to add mayonnaise or ketchup. So here's the recipe: 1. Thaw the pollock and rinse it. 2. Remove the skin and fins. 3. Cut the fish into portion-sized pieces. 4. Season with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with lemon juice. 5. Place in the steamer, add water to the reservoir, and cook for 15–20 minutes. ;)
