
Stewed pollock

Peel the potatoes

We thoroughly wash the fish, dry it, and cut it into portion pieces.

Then peel the onion, finely chop it, and fry in vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry until semi-transparent.

Meanwhile, slice the potatoes into rounds.

Pre-salt the fish pieces, add pepper, and add them to the onion. Fry for just 2-3 minutes.

Then add the potatoes to the pan, mix and fry for about 3 more minutes. Next, pour in the sour cream, add a little water and a couple of bay leaves.

Cover with a lid and simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally. I recommend simmering until the potatoes are fully cooked, about 20-25 minutes.
