Almond-apple pie
Description
The recipe won't take much time. If desired, you can make the cake with almond flour instead of almond flakes, using half high-grade wheat flour. In this case, be sure to use a leavening agent, as almond flour is quite dense. You can grate the apples, or cut them into cubes or slices—choose according to your preference. The baked good is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Rinse the apples and remove the stems, cut each apple into four parts and remove the cores, then rinse again.
- 2
Step 2

Crack the chicken eggs into the bowl of a mixer or food processor — you won't achieve the same result by beating them by hand! Add granulated sugar and salt. You can also add ground cinnamon or vanilla sugar if desired. They will give the baked goods an incredible aroma and flavor.
- 3
Step 3

Beat everything at the highest speed for about 3-4 minutes. It's important to beat until the foam whitens, but do not overbeat, otherwise the egg mixture will separate and the cake won't turn out.
- 4
Step 4

Add the premium wheat flour and gently incorporate it with a whisk, but do not beat it, so as not to release the air bubbles from the batter.
- 5
Step 5

Grease a baking pan with vegetable or butter, place the prepared dough in it. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- 6
Step 6

Place the apple slices on top — the dough will rise and slightly "submerge" the slices. You can arrange the apples in the center or across the entire surface — as you prefer!
- 7
Step 7

Sprinkle the dough with almond flakes over the entire surface and place the pan in the oven on the middle rack. During baking, do not open the oven door to prevent the cake from collapsing due to temperature differences.
- 8
Step 8

Bake it for about 30-35 minutes, then turn off the oven, remove the pan with the pie, and place it on its side to cool.
- 9
Step 9

Then remove the almond-apple pie from the pan, cut it into portions, and serve with a variety of beverages. You can accompany it with sour cream, jam, preserves, or sweet sauces. Enjoy your meal!
