
Mussels with celery
Description
The recipe won't take much time. A light mussel dinner can be served with a glass of chilled white wine. This dish is low in calories, so you can easily prepare it for a romantic evening or a quick snack. Serve hot.

Prepare the listed ingredients.

Peel the onion and rinse it under water together with the celery. Chop half of the onion into small cubes and place it in a frying pan with vegetable oil. Fry for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.

Cut the celery into pieces and add it to the pan. At this stage, you can also press a garlic clove, having peeled it beforehand, if you enjoy piquant flavors in your dish.

Sauté for 1 minute and add the rinsed mussels. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Salt everything, add pepper, and mix. You can also add other spices or herbs to taste. Turn off the heat.
