Description

The recipe won't take much time. Mussels are a natural aphrodisiac, so it's best to prepare this dish for a romantic dinner for two! Be sure to discard any unopened shells after cooking—mussel shells should be fully opened after simmering. Serve hot.

    Prepare the listed ingredients. Rinse the mussels in water and discard any open shells. Peel the onion and garlic, then rinse them in water.

    Chop the onion into small cubes and press the garlic. Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the chopped onion and garlic to the pan. Fry for about 2-3 minutes.

    When the onion is sautéed, pour white wine into the pan, add the scrubbed shells, and season with salt and ground black pepper. Add various herbs and spices to taste, such as rosemary, oregano, etc. Cover with a lid and simmer for about 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Rinse and chop the parsley, add it to the container with mussels, pour in the cream, and simmer for another 1-2 minutes. Do not use heavy cream, as it will simply melt and turn into fat.
