
Mexican cheese sauce
Description
Homemade sauce recipe. Serve cheese sauce with nachos or regular potato chips, as well as with fresh or roasted vegetables. If you don't want a very spicy sauce, replace the jalapeño with another type of pepper. Add any spices or a mixture of cheeses. Store the prepared sauce in the refrigerator and reheat before serving. Serve the sauce with meat, fish, or use it as a salad dressing.

1. Wash the pepper, cut it in half, remove the seeds, then finely chop it.

2. Place the saucepan over heat, add the butter and melt it.

3. Add pepper and a pinch of salt to the butter. Sauté until the pepper is soft.
