Honey peaches

Description
Choose firm peaches for cooking; otherwise, they will fall apart during preparation. You can use any honey except buckwheat honey, as it may impart a bitter aftertaste and darken the color of the peaches.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making honey peaches.

Wash the peaches thoroughly, dry them, remove the pits, and cut into slices.

Place the peaches in a frying pan, add water and cinnamon.

Cover the pan with a lid and bring to a boil over medium heat, then simmer for 1–2 minutes. The peaches should become softer but remain whole. Add honey.

Cook the peaches, stirring, for another 1-2 minutes, then remove and serve.
