Veal Medallions
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. There's no need to go to a restaurant when you want to enjoy something exquisite and feel like a true aristocrat, as some French dishes can easily be made at home. This simple recipe for veal medallions is exactly one of those dishes that require no special skills—only the desire to treat yourself and your loved ones. So I suggest not waiting for a holiday or special occasion, but preparing veal medallions at home and giving your family or partner a delightful surprise. The finished dish can now be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, we remove the membranes from the meat and cut it into medallions; I ended up with three pieces.
- 2
Step 2

Now we marinate the veal in a mixture of Worcestershire sauce and dried rosemary, then leave it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
- 3
Step 3

Place the marinated meat on a grill, grill pan, or regular frying pan.
- 4
Step 4

Sear the veal for one to four minutes per side, depending on the desired doneness (1-2 minutes for rare, 3-4 for well-done).
- 5
Step 5

Next, we pour the wine into a saucepan and place it on the heat.
- 6
Step 6

When all the alcohol has evaporated from the wine, add the sliced red onion rings to it.
- 7
Step 7

Adding sugar in small portions, continue cooking the mixture over low heat until it reaches the consistency of thick jam; add cinnamon and mint at the very end.
- 8
Step 8

Now you can combine all the ingredients: place the medallions on a plate, put the onion on top, and pour the wine sauce over everything.
