Avocado Oil
Description
The recipe won't take much time. You can eat this butter right after making it: spread it on toast, crispbreads, or croutons. You can also chill it first; then its consistency will be more like regular butter. Either way, it's incredibly delicious, though simple to the point of banality. Enjoy. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance. It should be at room temperature and soft.
- 2
Step 2
Wash the avocado, cut it lengthwise with a knife and split it into 2 halves, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Place the flesh in a bowl.
- 3
Step 3
Combine the avocado with the butter and use a fork to mash them into a smooth paste. You can use a blender, but I manage fine without one.
- 4
Step 4
During the process, add lemon juice, salt (you can add more to taste, but 1/4 teaspoon is enough for me), freshly ground black pepper. That's it — all done.
