Black rowanberry jelly
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Marshmallow is a delicious and beloved dessert that many enjoy with tea. Usually, black chokeberry is added to compotes or used to make jam. Today, I suggest making marshmallow from it. The finished dessert can be served at the table.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making black rowan marmalade. Pick the berries off the stems, sort through them, and rinse.

Step 2

Place the black rowan berries in a saucepan and pour in water. Set over medium heat and bring to a boil. Simmer gently, covered, for 15 minutes.

Pour off the broth and let it cool. Blend the berries with a blender until smooth. You can strain the mixture through a sieve if desired, but I didn't.

Step 5

Mix agar-agar with 50 milliliters of cooled broth and let it stand for 5 minutes. Pour the agar, stirring, into the black chokeberry mixture. Mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes, then remove from heat.

Line the mold with plastic wrap, transfer the mixture into it, and smooth it out. Let the jelly cool completely, then refrigerate until fully set.
