Jelly candy
Description
In just 30 minutes, you can prepare a healthy and natural treat—homemade jelly candy—in your kitchen! You can make it not only from juice but also from any fruit or berry purée. I'm really looking forward to strawberry season—jelly made from strawberry purée is especially delicious and sweet! But citrus jelly can be made any day. Feel free to experiment: try an orange-lemon dessert, plain orange, or orange-grapefruit (I used freshly squeezed juice from two small oranges and one small grapefruit). Try it out and leave your comments!
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. First, prepare the necessary ingredients. Wash the oranges and grapefruit.
- 2
Step 2

2. Cut the citrus fruits in half and squeeze the juice. Remove the seeds, but if some pulp gets in, that's even better.
- 3
Step 3

3. Put sugar, agar-agar, and add juice into a saucepan.
- 4
Step 4

4. Bring the mixture to a boil, simmer for a couple of minutes. Let it cool slightly.
- 5
Step 5

5. Pour the jelly into silicone molds and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

6. The jelly candy is ready! All that's left is to carefully remove it from the molds and, if desired, roll it in sugar.
- 7
Step 7

7. Roll in sugar immediately before eating, otherwise the sugar will gradually dissolve. The marmalade holds its shape well and can be stored at room temperature.

8. Treat the kids to some delicious, homemade jelly candy!
