1. Prepare the ingredients needed for marinating. Wash the herbs and garlic thoroughly. Remove the bulbs from the garlic. Only the stalks themselves will be used.

2. Cut the stems into small pieces (for easier marinating).

3. Bring a small amount of water to a boil. Add the stems and cook at a medium boil for 3 minutes. Then drain in a colander and let drip dry.

4. Take a pre-prepared sterile jar. Layer the spices first—one currant leaf, one cherry leaf, and one mint leaf. For heat, you can add a chili pepper. Then fill the jar to the top with garlic. Pour in the marinade (made from water, vinegar, sugar, and salt). Cover with a lid and marinate in a cool place for at least two weeks. You can seal the jars and store them in the pantry all winter.
