Quick Pickled Tomatoes
Description
Perfect for stocking up for winter. I tried these quick pickled tomatoes at a dacha birthday party. Everyone raved about them, so I wrote down the recipe right away. The best part is that you make them the day before. The marinade is simple: add salt, sugar, and pepper to boiling water; when the sugar and salt dissolve, remove from the heat and add vinegar. Give it a try — it might become your favorite summer appetizer. Good luck. Serve at the table or store in the pantry.
