Wash the mushrooms thoroughly, clean them, and boil in salted water for 20 minutes. Then drain them in a colander so all the water runs off. Prepare the marinade: add salt, sugar, pepper, and a bay leaf to the water, bring to a boil, remove from heat, and add citric acid. Pour the marinade over the mushrooms in sterilized jars.
