
Marinated Salo
Description
This lard turns out amazingly aromatic and delicious. And such a marinade can easily become your "calling card." Serve the lard at any feast as an accompaniment to appetizers. It is important to note that eating a few pieces of lard on an empty stomach helps prevent hypertensive and ischemic diseases. Serve the appetizer at the table.

In a saucepan, bring water to a boil, add salt, sugar, and the remaining spices, and simmer for about 5 minutes.

Then remove from the heat and add the honey. Stir the honey until dissolved, cover the pot with a lid, and let stand for 5 minutes.

Then place the salo in the marinade and let it stand, covered, for 2 hours or until the marinade has cooled completely.

Take out the salo, pat it dry, wrap it in foil after brushing with the remaining honey, and refrigerate for 2 hours.
