Description

I present to you a simple recipe for marinated pork baked in the oven, which can be served either with a side dish or as an appetizer. The marinade effortlessly turns into a sauce that perfectly complements the roasted pork.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

    1. For this dish, pork chop is the best choice. If desired, of course, you can use fattier meat. Wash the pork, dry it thoroughly, and cut it in half if necessary.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

    2. The main component of the dish is the marinade. To prepare it, mix olive oil, soy sauce, and wine vinegar. Wash the lemon and squeeze the juice. Add the juice and the lemon itself, cut into quarters, to the marinade. Wash parsley and chop finely. Peel the garlic and pass it through a press or cut in half. Add mustard, garlic, parsley, and some pepper to taste to the sauce. Mix everything thoroughly and warm slightly (do not bring to a boil).

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

    3. Place the meat in the marinade for 4-5 hours. However, the recipe for preparing marinated pork in the oven may take from 3 to 14 hours in total.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

    4. Place the meat on a well-heated skillet and sear it on high heat for about 2-3 minutes on each side. This way, the meat juices will remain sealed under the formed crust, keeping the meat juicy during the baking process.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

    5. Then remove the pork from the skillet and place it in the oven at 180 degrees. You can use a baking sheet or a rack with a baking sheet placed underneath. During baking, baste the meat with the marinade 2-3 times, so the marinated pork baked in the oven at home will be more aromatic and juicy.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

    6. While the meat is baking, you can prepare the sauce for serving. Add a little broth (or plain water) to the skillet in which the meat was fried. Bring to a boil, stirring.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Step 7

    7. Then strain the marinade in which the meat was soaked through a sieve into the frying pan and simmer over low heat. The sauce should thicken and reduce in volume. Cut the cooked pork into portion pieces and pour the sauce over it.
