Description

There is nothing simpler than pickling asparagus beans. And the dish turns out fit for royalty! With pickled beans, besides eating them as they are, you can make various salads. They also work well in stews and soups. So pickling asparagus beans for winter is very worthwhile. And it is worthwhile not only because they will help any homemaker quickly prepare a tasty dish, but also because beans contain a great many vitamins and trace elements. The simple step-by-step recipe for pickling asparagus beans is as follows: 1. Rinse the beans, trim the ends, cut into even sticks (if the beans are long), and boil for 5 minutes. Add the beans to the water once it is boiling. 2. Prepare the jars—sterilize and dry them. 3. Peel the garlic cloves and rinse the dill sprigs. 4. Place one garlic clove and one dill sprig in each jar. Drain the beans through a colander and pack them into the jars up to the shoulders as well. 5. Make the brine. To do this, bring water to a boil in a saucepan, add salt, sugar, and vinegar. Once the salt and sugar have dissolved and the water is boiling, pour it over the asparagus beans. 6. Seal the jars immediately with sterile lids, turn them upside down on a blanket. Wrap with another blanket and leave until cool. Pickled asparagus beans are ready! Use them as an appetizer, side dish, in salads and sauces. Serve at the table or store in the pantry.
