Marinated salmon with lemon juice, coriander and pepper

240 min4 serv.21 февр. 2026 г.

Description

A snack-style way to prepare colorful salmon — with lemon and spices. It will suit those who do not like salty dishes and are more inclined toward marinades. Remember that after 24 hours you need to remove the lemons from the container so they do not turn sour and start to taste bitter. It can be served warm or chilled.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Choose a piece of salmon from the fillet — it is fattier and more tender in flavor. Rinse the fish and pat it dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Cut half a lemon into slices and remove the seeds. Place in a deep container or food storage container. Add sugar and salt. The sugar is needed so the fish does not turn out too sour, and it helps preserve the bright red color of the flesh.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Pour in the vegetable oil, add ground coriander and ground black pepper. Mix everything thoroughly, pressing down so the lemon slices release their juice. Place the salmon in the marinade and pour it over the top.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Place the container in the refrigerator for at least 2–3 hours, and at most overnight. It all depends on the thickness of the salmon piece. The fish should be marinated on the outside, while remaining pink inside.

    Step 5

Place it on a plate and cut into portion-sized slices. Serve with fresh herbs, bread, lavash, etc.
