Marinated chicken in a multicooker
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Like many others, I usually cook chicken—not only because it's quite affordable, but also because I love its taste. Of course, I've tried numerous marinades, each delicious in its own way, but my favorite remains the lemon-based one. That's why I'd like to share with you a recipe for marinated chicken cooked in a multicooker, using precisely this marinade. Honestly, the combination of lemon juice, soy sauce, ginger, sugar, and vegetables perfectly complements the meat, giving it a sweet, sour, and slightly spicy flavor. So if you'd like to turn ordinary chicken into something truly special, I'll show you how to make marinated chicken in a multicooker. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, we thoroughly rinse the chicken and dry it. We also wash the lemons and use a grater to remove their zest.
- 2
Step 2

Squeeze the juice from the lemons and mix it with the grated zest.
- 3
Step 3

Pour the resulting mixture over the chicken drumsticks and let them marinate in the refrigerator for an hour.
- 4
Step 4

After the time has elapsed, pour vegetable oil into the multicooker, set it to the "Baking" mode, and set the time for 65 minutes. Then remove the chicken drumsticks from the marinade (do not discard the marinade), coat them in flour, and place them into the heated oil.
- 5
Step 5

Fry them uncovered for 20-25 minutes on the side with the skin, then flip.
- 6
Step 6

While the chicken is frying, peel and slice the carrots into rounds, and slice the garlic cloves. Place the garlic and carrots in a small bowl, add a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil, and mix well. Once you've flipped the chicken to the other side for the first time, add the prepared vegetable and oil mixture to the multicooker. Continue frying everything with the lid open for another 20–25 minutes.

Step 7

Next, we add to the remaining lemon juice from marinating soy sauce, grated ginger, sugar, salt, and spices to taste. When the drumsticks are browned on the other side, flip them over and pour the prepared marinade into the pot.
- 8
Step 8

Close the multicooker lid and wait for the set mode to finish.
- 9
Step 9

The chicken turns out incredibly delicious—finger-licking good. Enjoy your meal, everyone!
