Pickled Cabbage with Carrot and Beet
Description
Winter preserves at home. In my opinion, there's no better appetizer than sauerkraut! Prepare the marinade. Cut the carrots, beets, and cabbage. Layer all the vegetables in a container, add allspice and the marinade. Leave under a press for 5–6 days in a cool place. Then the cabbage can be served at the table or refrigerated for longer storage. Store in a cool, dark place.

Step 4

Place the cabbage in a pickling container, then add the remaining vegetables and allspice to taste on top. Pour the marinade over everything, press down with a weight, and leave for 5–6 days. Then transfer the cabbage to a jar and store it in the refrigerator. And, of course, it can be served as an appetizer.
