
Pickled Cauliflower

A simple way to prepare ahead. Pickled cauliflower is a very interesting and versatile type of preserve. Once the dish is ready, you can serve it raw as a standalone dish or as a side (it is already cooked), or use it to prepare another dish. The cauliflower takes on a beautiful, rich yellow color that gives it extra appeal. Even children are willing to eat pickled cauliflower. And that is already a big success! :) So, here is how to pickle cauliflower. Serve at the table or store in the pantry.

Pour sugar into a saucepan and add mustard.

Add turmeric and pepper.

Separate the cauliflower into florets.

Pour vinegar and water into a saucepan, place over heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until the sugar has completely dissolved.

Place the cabbage in a bowl (preferably an airtight bowl) and pour the marinade over it.

Mix everything well with a spoon. Cover and leave to infuse at room temperature for 3–4 hours.
