Manty in the shape of little roses
Description
The recipe won't take much time. To make such beautiful manty, you don't need anything special—just ordinary ingredients. But watch how to work with the dough to achieve this result! So, let's get started. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients. I don't specify the amount of flour, as there may be many influencing factors: for example, egg size, flour moisture, cup size, etc. The main thing is to make the dough firm enough to roll it out as thinly as possible afterward.
- 2
Step 2

Pour about 2-2.5 cups of flour into a deep container. Mix it with salt. Make a small well in the center and pour in a cup of boiling water, stirring the dough vigorously with a spatula or wooden spoon.
- 3
Step 3

Add a raw egg to the dough and mix quickly.
- 4
Step 4

Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead until firm and stiff. Place it in a bowl and cover with a towel. Alternatively, wrap in plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

Prepare the meat filling. Mix the ground meat with finely chopped onion, salt, ground pepper, and water. You can increase the amount of water up to 150 ml if the meat mixture is too dry.
- 6
Step 6

Roll out the dough as thinly as possible into a rectangle. Cut into not-too-wide strips. Evenly place the filling onto each strip of dough.
- 7
Step 7

Periodically pinch the dough, as shown in the photo. Be sure to tightly seal the edges on both sides to keep the juice inside the rosette.
- 8
Step 8

Roll up the roses. Secure the edge.
- 9
Step 9

Grease the baking dish with vegetable or butter, place the manty at a distance from each other. Steam for 30 minutes.
- 10
Step 10

The manty are ready, use a spatula to remove the first batch.
- 11
Step 11

Melt a piece of butter and generously drizzle it over the manty. Enjoy!
