
Cheese manty
Description
The recipe is excellent. The manty turn out very juicy thanks to the cheese, with a delicate creamy flavor. A great alternative to traditional dumplings.

Prepare all the ingredients.

In a deep bowl, combine water, egg, and oil. Add 1 tsp salt and whisk slightly.

Add the flour in parts.

Knead the dough. You might need slightly less flour than specified in the recipe; the finished dough should be firm and elastic. Shape it into a ball, cover with a towel, and let it rest for 20–30 minutes.

Place the minced meat into a deep bowl.

Add the cheese grated on a coarse grater.

Add here the onion cut into small cubes, salt and spices to taste.

Mix everything well. If the filling is too dry, you can add a little ice water.

Cut off a small piece of dough, roll it into a sausage shape, and cut it into pieces. Then roll each piece in flour on both sides.

Roll out the cut pieces into a circular shape and place the filling in the center.

Form the manty in any convenient way.

Grease the steamer rack with vegetable oil and place the manty in a single layer. Steam the manty for about 45 minutes.
