Well, of course, this is not a classic recipe for mantu with mushrooms and potatoes. Traditionally, mantu are made only with meat and onions, and sometimes with added pork fat. But personally, I prefer this variation—the mushrooms give the filling a special aroma and juiciness, while the potatoes add heartiness and flavor. 1. Let's make the dough. Mix the flour with salt, make a well in the center and crack in the egg. Gradually add water and knead the dough. You might need more water; our goal is a firm yet elastic dough. Let it rest in the refrigerator.

2. Pass the meat and mushrooms through a meat grinder or blender to combine them. Cut the potatoes into small cubes. Season with salt and pepper, and add spices to taste.

3. When the dough has cooled, knead it well once again and roll it out into a large flatbread. Using plates or bowls, cut out small round flatbreads.
