Fried manty
Description
This recipe won't take much time. 1. To prepare this dish, you need to make the dough. Mix the sifted flour with a pinch of salt. Add water and knead an elastic, soft, yet firm dough. Then set it aside, covering it with a towel. 2. The filling is also quite simple. Wash the lamb or veal, dry it, and chop finely with a sharp knife. Optionally, you can mince the meat in a meat grinder, although the taste of the dish will noticeably differ when using hand-chopped meat. 3. Peel the onion and dice it finely. Mix it with the meat. 4. The recipe for fried mantu does not require adding any spices except salt and pepper. However, if desired, you can add a little soy sauce, dried herbs, or meat seasoning. 5. Thoroughly mix the filling. 6. Knead the dough once again and divide it into 6 portions. Roll each portion thinly on a floured surface. 7. Place the filling into each dough circle and carefully seal the edges. 8. To make the fried mantu juicy and tender, first steam them. Grease the steamer or mantu cooker basket and place the mantu inside. Steam for about 30 minutes. 9. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or saucepan. Transfer the cooked mantu into the hot oil and fry until golden brown. Serve hot, placing them on a paper towel first to remove excess oil. Serve hot.
